Anniversary Celebration on May 16, 2025
The year 2025 marks a festive milestone, as RAM Mounts Benelux will officially celebrate its 10-year anniversary on January 20, 2025. And we plan to celebrate in style!
Founded in 2015 under the trade name Topmount, the company quickly became a success. This growth led National Products Inc. (the manufacturer of RAM Mounts) to appoint us as the Exclusive Distributor for the Benelux region in 2019, marking the start of our continued expansion under the name RAM Mounts Benelux.
Over the past 10 years, we’ve achieved many milestones (see the video on this page) and forged meaningful partnerships. With some of our clients, we’ve enjoyed a relationship that dates back to our inception in 2015. We deeply value your trust and the strong collaboration we have built together.
We’ll celebrate this special occasion at several moments throughout the year.
On Friday, May 16, we will commemorate this milestone with a grand celebration alongside our customers, suppliers, and colleagues. A personal invitation will follow soon!

RAM Mounts Benelux celebrates 10th anniversary
How an assembly brand became big in the Benelux
On 20 January 2025, RAM Mounts Benelux gave the starting signal for the celebration of its 10th anniversary. This happened with the cutting of a large cake by the shareholders Cornelis van Putten, René van Veen and Ramses Rens.
The entire year will be dedicated to this second lustrum. This will be celebrated extensively with customers, relations and the employees of RAM Mounts Benelux and its sister companies Topcats and Topdek.
A blue start
Top Comfort & Safety BV was founded on 20 January 2015. Under the trade name Topmount, sales of RAM Mounts robust mounting solutions for electronic equipment were started. In the first few years, a lot of effort was put into promotion via national and international trade fairs, where the team was also present with its American colleagues. Topmount was recognisable at the trade fair by its blue house style.
‘In March 2017, we presented ourselves for the first time with a new, red house style and the name RAM Mounts Benelux,’ says Cornelis van Putten. ‘In November 2017, the whole of the Netherlands was allowed to know that we were continuing under the name RAM Mounts Benelux. We participated in the RTL7 program Ondernemend Nederland.’
Sponsor of heroes in motorsport
A sponsorship contract with the DAKAR team of Tim and Tom Coronel linked RAM Mounts Benelux to an international event and two heroes in motorsport in 2018.
The following year, the building of the neighbours was purchased and the new RAM Mounts Benelux logo adorned the building at Apolloweg 80 in Lelystad. Gerbrich Heimel joined the team with his knowledge of the motorcycle industry as Sales Manager.
A lustrum in Covid times
On the occasion of the first lustrum and the fact that the Netherlands celebrated 75 years of Freedom in 2020, customers could win a special X-Grip in red, white and blue that year.
Fortunately, RAM Mounts Benelux had not been affected much by the COVID-19 pandemic. Business was so good that they won the prestigious FD Gazelle Award 2021, because they were among the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands.
New management
In January 2022, owners Cornelis van Putten, Réne van Veen and Ramses Rens took a step back. The daily management of RAM Mounts Benelux and the two sister companies Topdek and Topcats was transferred to Gerbrich Heimel, the new general manager and Rogier van Sliedregt, financial director. The two formed the new management team.
Awards and collaborations
The company's success bore new fruit. This was followed by the FD Gazelle Award 2022 plus 2023 and a nomination for the Bedrijfskring Lelystad Award 2022. In the summer of 2023, the coveted ISO 9001:2005 certificate was obtained.
RAM® Mounts Benelux joined the RAI Association Motorcycles section to jointly strengthen the motorcycle industry. The company also wanted to invest in society.
'We have committed ourselves as a sponsor to Hart voor de Zaak of the Hartstichting,' says Gerbrich Heimel. 'All employees were allowed to take a CPR/AED course.'
A new surprise came at the fair: Trucky, a mini truck with remote control, was used to promote the collaboration with major brands such as Samsung, Zebra, Getac and Apple.
Jeffrey Carnevali, CEO of National Products Inc., manufacturer of RAM Mounts, reacted very enthusiastically when Trucky appeared on Social Media. During the RAM Mounts Summit in Seattle, RAM Mounts Benelux received the Strategic Partner Award 2024. In addition, the FD Gazelle Award was won for the fourth time in a row.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary and future expectations
'We are going to celebrate our 10th anniversary in a big way. Great activities are being organised, and we are not forgetting our customers. So keep a close eye on our Social Media channels and newsletters,' says Gerbrich Heimel.
